

DeeDee Austin is a 17-year-old Indigenous singer-songwriter from Fall River, Nova Scotia. She is a four time award nominated and a two time award winner, garnering Indigenous Artist of the Year 2022 and New Artist Recording 2022. DeeDee has also just been recognized as a Young Canadian Socan Songwriters Award Honourable Mentions and the recent recipient of the Chief Noel Doucette Youth Achievement award. DeeDee has been making notable strides on the East Coast with the release of her debut EP, Stepping Stones which released in the Spring of 2021.
